



REAL-TIME AI-POWERED URBAN PORT DIGITAL TWIN
Goals
BeTwin (Real-Time AI-Powered Urban Port Digital Twin) project, funded as part of the RAISE (Robotics & AI for Socio-economic Empowerment) program, aims to develop an integrated system for dynamic monitoring of port areas and surrounding urban areas. The project is coordinated by Exis Engineering Solutions Srl and involves partners such as Spindox S.p.A., SWHARD Srl, T&G Technology & Groupware Srl and OnAir Srl.
Spindox S.p.A. plays a key role in the development of artificial intelligence solutions within the project. Specifically, it is responsible for:
- Developing a module for detecting potentially dangerous or non-compliant situations by analyzing images and videos using computer vision and deep learning techniques.
- Creating a system for detecting anomalies in data collected by IoT sensors, which can monitor port infrastructure in real time and identify any malfunctions or degradations.
The project has an 18-month duration and aims to improve the efficiency, safety and sustainability of port operations by integrating advanced technologies such as IoT, AI and digital twins.
